A user notices a laser printer is picking up multiple sheets of paper from one of its paper trays. The problem started last week and has gotten worse. Which of the following is MOST likely the cause of this problem?
From Google: The purpose of a separation pad is to introduce friction and separate the top sheet of paper from the remainder of the stack. This prevents multiple sheets of paper from being fed into the machine at one time.
I guess it's because feed rollers just transfer the paper, if a single paper is pulled out from separation pad then there would be no issue. the problem started at separation pad.
