I am the newbie here, but I just wanted to confirm that the answer is A (iaas). According to Microsoft: " The public cloud is defined as computing services offered by third-party providers over the public Internet, making them available to anyone who wants to use or purchase them. They may be free or sold on-demand, allowing customers to pay only per usage for the CPU cycles, storage, or bandwidth they consume." So the answer is A (iaas) because we are using the provider's infrastructure as far as servers, virtual machines, etc. On the other hand, saas will be more like using Gmail or Microsoft Outlook. I hope that helps.
it is A iaas
See Microsoft webiste https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/infrastructure-as-a-service-series-virtual-machines-and-windows/
We recently announced the release of Windows Azure Virtual Machines, an Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offering in Windows Azure.
SaaS is a software as a service, example of that is the google calendar, dropbox, etc... IaaS is infrastructure as a service, meaning your company severs, vm, etc.. can be in the cloud without your company worrying about the hardwares.
