Answers D & E are technically correct, but as the educational video link below indicates, STP (802.1d - which are really the same thing*) was designed for a network from now hopefully bygone era: hello 802.1w (RSTP)...otherwise you'll have a convergence network that can last at least 50 seconds which in this day and age should be totally unacceptable.

Side note: the 20 minute vid above (other then being very clearly explained) is highly recommended to memorise as it will definitely pay dividends in getting the basic grasp of the STP mechanics. Such understanding can then be easily scaled to more complex network designs...
