as per Professor Messer Notes: subdomain 5.4 - Troubleshooting Video and Display Issues: Distorted image and geometry: • Check the OS refresh rate and resolution settings • Need to match the display specifications

This is a definetly mutli choice question, so I would say "C" if correcrt, is not the only answer. I would say "A- Update the laptops graphics driver" is a correct answer too as it would solve distorted images.

I don't think that updating drivers will arrange anything, as resolution still need to be adjusted after the update.

I think the right answer is F. Resolution has nothing to do with image distortion.

Yes, it absolutely does. That's why native resolutions exist.

F is really used for when the projector and the screen are at an angle from one another.

I don't understand this answer. It says laptop/projector combination so how is the answer "desktop" wouldn't B make more sense?

I think the keyword is "mirror" because it mirror the desktop sometimes the resolution is not right for projector. So you want the resolution on both device is the same.

The desktop is the main screen area that you see after you turn on your computer and log on to Windows. Like the top of an actual desk, it serves as a surface for your work. When you open programs or folders, they appear on the desktop. They are referring to the Desktop in Windows not a Desktop Computer in general. Poorly worded question/answer.
