To be honest, this is more a question for Azure exam as Faraday cages are present everywhere when dealing with databses in cloud. Lucky me I`ve done that and got the connection.

I think the given answer could be correct, Faraday cage can intercept signals and redirects them to ground.

Seems like it's D. A faraday cage doesn't redirect signal, it just cancels it out. "When electromagnetic radiation - such as a phone signal - hits the outside of a Faraday cage, it causes electrons in the metal to move and create an electromagnetic field that exactly opposes and cancels out that wavelength of radiation." "Faraday cages can attenuate the frequency of cell phones."

It seems like it could be either or. It redirects the signal and causes attenuation. Assuming that the cell phone is not inside of the cage (which the signal is redirected away from) The cage could be causing attenuation on the outside of the cage causing the signal issue. Honestly i feel like its just a guess at this point.

I would rule out attenuation because the question states the customers have no signal at all. We can also eliminate latency and interference, leaving B the signal is being redirected or blocked.

The reception or transmission of radio waves, a form of electromagnetic radiation, to or from an antenna within a Faraday cage is heavily attenuated or blocked by the cage
