A company wants to take advantage of cloud benefits while retaining control of and maintaining compliance with all its security policy obligations. Based on the non-functional requirements, which of the following should the company use?
A.
Hybrid cloud, as use is restricted to trusted customers
B.
IaaS, as the cloud provider has a minimal level of security responsibility
C.
PaaS, as the cloud customer has the most security responsibility
D.
SaaS, as the cloud provider has less security responsibility
For IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, the company could not easily retain control of and maintain compliance with its security policy obligations. For these cloud implementation models, data for example stores within service provider system so the company has very least control of security settings.
For hybrid cloud, the company is able to use the cloud for applications and processing, but keep data on-premises, and data access tightly controlled.
Answer should be A - Hybrid Cloud.
nick1970 did you take this exam, if so when, and how did you do? I'm trying to determine how to use this material. The fourm alls for open disscusion and I'm just trying to determine if these responeses to the questions were applied to the real exam and how you did you do? or did the answers that are suggested by the site fare better? I feel comfortable with me research yet I'm trying to weed out the uneccessary information. Just asking as a fellow test taker.
I think the answer is B. The questions doesn't specify what cloud product they are choosing. So IaaS might satisfy their legal obligations. Either way you look at it, security is shared on all cloud solutions.
