Both cellular and Bluetooth are wireless communication features that consume a significant amount of power when enabled. Disabling these features can help conserve battery life, especially if they are not being used.
Makes sense since blue tooth and cellular never turn off and would be constantly TX/RX for a signal if available. Honestly never thought to do this myself.
