Selected Answer: A
Remember that printer connected to manager's PC by USB . only option is to share this printer and on users PC s allows to use this printer. I've done this many times in real working environment when there is no spear network ports

"the BEST way for the technician to allow access to the printer?" i'd like to underline "to allow access to the printer". By purchasing a new wireless printer you may be print again but you won't allow access to the printer (that is already in the office), so no, C can't be the answer

More importantly the question states "until the new printer arrives." You aren't going to buy a wireless printer to let people print again while you wait for their replacement printer to arrive.

You’d probably get fired if you went and bought another printer with one already on the way… Maybe they shouldn’t have ordered one and just went and bought it in the first place. Frustrating.(Got this from another site)

Remember, multiple users should print and creating a share is convenient for a small users, especially on a homegroup. the wireless printer will support many users. Also, creating a share printer will only work when the main computer is turned and stop working when turned off. The correct answer is , purchasing a wireless printer.

why are you purchasing a wireless printer when there is one ordered already? Are we not making a plan to print while waiting for a new one(the one ordered?

The correct answer is A! Create a share folder on the computer is obvious. I confirmed this on another website that is recommended for students preparing for the 1001 exam. I would provide the website if exam topics allowed me to. The website is given to us by the school I attend where I've taken the A+ course prep.

I was confused too. But I think I can justify the answer, the question was 'which is best' so it doesn't matter if it costs more or waste of resources or time, a wireless printer is the best option. I hope it makes sense. Let me know if any of you agree?

There is no most correct answer in the list but A seems to be the most appropriate way to handle this situation out of all.

I take it back, it could be the the option C meant to say PRINT SERVER instead of PRINTER. If so, then the given answer would be correct.

The answer is A i have done this at work several times, go to printers and scanners on the managers pc, then select the installed printer, then right click then go to properties and then share the printer. Then on the users go to search and search by the ip address or the computer name then will see the printer and connect.

So I spoke with my instructor and this was his exact response for the correct answer being "C" "As silly as it sounds answer C is the BEST option as the others break security protocols (A,D) and would impact the managers productivity."
