A user has connected a Bluetooth mouse to a computer, but it is not working properly. Which of the following commands should the systems administrator use to fix the issue?
I agree with you, but the question says "working properly" meaning that the module exists already. May be in order to fix the issue, we have to remove it first and reinstall it?
Most correct answer is C.
A. lsmod does not have a -i option.
B. insmod bluetooth results in an error [on RHEL7 & mintLinux], cannot locate module, must give precise location for the file/driver. It is also recommended to use modprobe over insmod
D. depmod lists the dependencies.
Best choice is C, remove the module [and reinstall].
I would go with D and then reboot, since it might just need some dependencies. B is a good option also even though there could be some security concerns
B is the correct Answer.
modprobe -r will remove the module and that is definitely not a fix.
insmod will install the already connected bluetooth device & drivers, thereby making it to work properly.
