I chose Answer C. Also, with "Project Team", this isn't necessarily a "role", which is one of the reasonings that I used to eliminate that as a possible answer.
Task initiation and completion are triggers for communication with the team about any effects on upcoming tasks. D is correct. The team member is notifying nobody. The Project Manager of the project is simply aware that "A team member has completed an assigned task."
I can see why it is C but I don't see anything wrong with Project Team. If we are talking about "first", I think practically it makes more sense to discuss it with your team then with the project manager
It says the team member has completed a task... so he or she would need to update his/her manager/project manager because if he/she is a team member then the team already know what has been accomplished or who is working on what assigned task.
You don't need to "report" to your fellow project mate
