"Which of the following tools should the technician use to finish installing the new network jack?" From this We are going to use a "network jack" or "ethernet wall socket" and for it we need a Punch down tool. "Crimper" is used when you are making an ethernet cable, with CAT 6 cable and RJ45 connector.

Selected Answer: C
A network drop is a connection point in a network. The term generally refers to a local area network (LAN). Network drops are typically wall outlets with an Ethernet jack (RJ45) that a computer or other network device, including a phone, printer, etc. can plug into. The keyword here is 'new jack'. It has to be Crimper - C. Punchdown tools are used at patch panels to connect the Ethernet cables to 110 blocks without using RJ45 Jack, just wires.

MY BAD - the context is about the network drop point. So in this case a 'new jack' must be a new ethernet wall port The video showing how to do it - https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=946&v=uFBQsUwqy_g&feature=emb_title

Punchdown Tool to connect the patchpanel and the Wall network jack. The question is not to end a cable with a RJ45-Plug

this question is dumb since both is possible, both the wall and clear end are called a jack. I'm guessing the crimp is the answer because it can directly connect to the PC without a patch. Realistically you would put the wall jack and a plate and terminate it with a punch down tool to make it look nice.

The answer is C. The question states a new computer, 1 each. So there only needs to be one line run and doesn't need to be terminated in a patch panel.
