Shouldn't the answer be A&B, the magnetic reader does not make sense for this situation.

Hi folks, I had exact this question in my exam and i selected Barcode reader and Lable printer as I think this would be correct. I think this question is related to SubDomain: 3.6! Any thoughts/Comments? I'm not having any failures in this domain. So I think my selection should be right.

This is a total bs, take inventory AND UPDATE TAG PRICE, how can you update tag price with a magnetic Reader or a barcode scanner? Simplex, you can't. You need A the scanner for the quick inventory and B a label printer to update the tag price

with a bar code scanner you can find the object and update it electronically because object can be downloaded on a PC.

These questions and answers are ridiculous. This one would be assuming what, you're working at a retail outlet selling computers? I've had to do inventory before and I can tell you right now most companies don't use barcode scanners or magnetic readers. They use a pen and a piece of paper, and if they don't put their own code on a sticker then they use the service tag from the manufacturer.

"price tags for products" piece of paper or plastic or cards on which information about the price of the product is printed on. A magnetic reader is installed in POS to read Credit?debit cards and on some secured buidings to get access with access cards/ID cards with some chips inside them.

You need the magnetic reader to authorize the user to enter the inventory computer/software to update prices.

I don't know if you are jesting...if that was the actual answer, by extension even the eventual keyboard to type your password in would be the correct answer. It doesn't talk about authentication anywhere, at that point even KVM could be right, maybe we had to enter the info in a KVM machine.

Worked in warehouses for years. In the real world maybe 50% use barcode scanners, a lot have done away with them as they make work take longer in practice but still enough to be considered a standard piece of kit. I have NEVER seen a magnetic reader inside a warehouse but EVERY single one has label printers to mark stock. Also since some people were asking further down most label printers you encounter in these environments are thermal printers, they are cheap, don't need ink replaced and the stickers aren't intended to last forever only until they leave the warehouse so degradation isn't an issue.

it can't be a magnetic reader. those are for reading stripes on cards. If you are inventorying anything other than mag stripe cards, you would do better with a bar code scanner which works on any surface, from a distance, as you have all seen take place a million times before at every checkout counter everywhere... Furthermore, a label printer can print Both Barcodes AND Price tags, so you can kill two birds with one stone. Update your price tags, and track your inventory. A & B

A magnetic stripe reader, also called a magnetic stripe reader, is a hardware device that reads the information encoded in the magnetic stripe located on the back of a plastic badge. I think it makes sense now we can use a magnetic reader and Barcode scanner to do inventory. I also believe the printing of label is just to make us tricked to chose A&B.

Definition from WhatIs.com A magnetic stripe reader, also called a magstripe reader, is a hardware device that reads the information encoded in the magnetic stripe located on the back of a plastic badge. Dose not make sense answers A&B. It should be A&C.

So where is MrCompTIA then? I noticed he isn't here to provide us with explanations for the answers. Also, if someone could please add an option to click on an area to reveal explanations after you click on the reveal answers button, I would appreciate it.
