Actually I second this post! SAN is indeed the most representative technology that inherently leverages block-level storage, as it's designed specifically for this purpose. iSCSI and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) are protocols often used within SAN technology to facilitate block-level storage operations. We need 'technology that inherently leverages block-level STORAGE'.

In the book, block level technology is only discussed with SAN and not at all was NAS.
It should be SAN = Block level, where NAS = file level. Regardless thanks for the people responsible in providing free materials like this in order for us to feel what it's really like on the real Network + exam. cheers!

The two most popular storage system technologies are file level storage and block level storage. File level storage is seen and deployed in Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems. Block level storage is seen and deployed in Storage Area Network (SAN) storage.
Answer is B.
If Crisp is correct about how the word "leverage" is being used, then NAS is the answer.
Think of it this way - Comptia did not word this question to ask what technology USES block-level. This is how they trick people.
I was confused on this at first but after doing research and reading the question again A is the answer. The question asks what " Leverages" meaning what is better than Block-level. NAS uses File-Level Storage in which is a more simple way to store files and have them easily accessible and available.
To Leverage something means to use something to its ability. I thing B SAN is the answer. When things come down to semantics of a word Comptia needs to rethink the question
That is not at all how the word leverages is used. And it doesn't matter if it is because one type of storage isn't better than the other. What makes one type of storage more useful over the other is the company's needs and requirements.
Don't forget that these questions are from test takers memory and should not be taken as 100% or something to memorize. The correct answer for this question is B a SAN.
