Port 22 is associated with the Secure Shell (SSH) protocol. SSH is a secure network protocol used for remote access and secure data communication. It provides encrypted and authenticated access to network devices and servers. Port 23: Port 23 is associated with the Telnet protocol. Telnet is an older, unencrypted protocol used for remote terminal access and management of network devices and servers. It is less secure than SSH. Port 80 is the default port for the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP). It is used for unencrypted web traffic and is the standard port for web servers to serve web pages to clients. Port 3389 is associated with the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). RDP is a proprietary protocol developed by Microsoft and is used for remote desktop and graphical user interface access to Windows-based computers. Port 8080 is often used as an alternative HTTP port. It is commonly used for running web services or proxy servers that require a separate HTTP port, typically to avoid conflicts with the standard HTTP port (Port 80).
