C. vSwitch
A virtual switch (vSwitch) is used to provide networking capability for virtual machines (VMs) at Layer 2 of the OSI model. It allows VMs to communicate with each other and with the physical network, just as if they were connected to a physical switch. vSwitch allows creating virtual networks and configuring port groups, VLANs, and other settings, providing the same features as physical switches.
The Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) is a computer networking protocol that provides for automatic assignment of available Internet Protocol routers to participating hosts. This increases the availability and reliability of routing paths via automatic default gateway selections on an IP subnetwork. Virtual Routing Redundancy Protocol VRRP is used for your internal clients and will not affect the routing of traffic between WANs or autonomous systems.
Virtual Switch is a device used to configure various hypervisor guests allowing them to use different VLANs in the same virtualization environment. A virtual firewall would separate virtualization environments.
