A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is a legally binding contract that establishes a confidential relationship. The party or parties signing the agreement agree that sensitive information they may obtain will not be made available to any others.1 An NDA may also be referred to as a confidentiality agreement.
Non-disclosure agreements are common for businesses entering into negotiations with other businesses. They allow the parties to share sensitive information without fear that it will end up in the hands of competitors. In this case, it may be called a mutual non-disclosure agreement.
Heldman:
Nondisclosure agreements (NDA) are used when organiza-tions engage the services of an OUTSIDE ENTITY and want to assure that sensitive or trade secret information is not shared outside the organization. An NDA assures that what’s dis-cussed, discovered, or developed is kept within the organization.
Nope. NDA can be signed by vendor. Get that corrected. SLA is primarily focused on setting a quality baseline for the work performed. Protection of data is in NDA
I'm not sure it is. Typically NDA's are only signed by the customer/consumer, not the vendor. I think it is actually SLA, since security standards would be included.
