Data in use is always in volatile memory, whether that is VRAM on the file system or within the RAM.

Verifying each answer against Chat GPT, my experience, other test banks, a written book, and weighing in the discussion from all users to create a 100% accurate guide for myself before I take the exam. (It isn't easy because of the time needed, but it is doing my diligence)
Data in use is data that is currently being updated, processed, erased, accessed or read by a system. This type of data is not being passively stored, but is instead actively moving through parts of an IT infrastructure. https://www.techtarget.com/whatis/definition/data-in-use
If the data is being passed across a local network, would that not mean that it is "in use". It wouldn't pass if it were not being accessed. I could be wrong, but that is my thinking.
I stand corrected, A would be data "in motion". Looks like B.
