A user's laptop is making a loud clicking noise, and the battery life is shorter than expected. Which of the following storage options would a technician MOST likely install to address the user's issues?
The answer is SATA SSD because it offers a faster read/write speed compared to traditional mechanical hard drives and consumes less power, which can help improve battery life. Additionally, SATA SSDs do not have any moving parts, so they are less likely to make loud clicking noises, which could be indicative of a failing mechanical hard drive. MicroSD cards are typically used for storage expansion in mobile devices, and 15,000rpm HDD and SAS SSDs are high-performance storage solutions that may not be necessary for most laptops.
I think: D
The HD is the reason for that klicking, but to solve the problem I would put the HD out and a SSD (SATA) in. So there will be never a klicking, even if the user moves the Notebook during the Disk is running.
