Selected Answer: D
802.11n is the standard that supports MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) technology. 802.11n is a wireless networking standard that operates on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands, and it uses MIMO technology to increase the data transfer rate and improve signal quality. MIMO technology uses multiple antennas to transmit and receive data, allowing for greater throughput and improved reliability. 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g are earlier wireless networking standards that do not support MIMO technology.

I agree with you, I just wanted to point out that earlier Wi-Fi standards, such as 802.11a, 802.11b, and later versions of 802.11g did have provisions for MIMO technology, but with some limitations compared to the later 802.11n standard; Still, 802.11n is often associated with the broader and more advanced implementation of MIMO, allowing for multiple MIMO streams and improved wireless performance. It provides more flexibility in the number of spatial streams and antennas, enabling better performance and support for multiple MIMO streams for higher data rates.
