I've heard from other people on here that this site has to have some wrong answers to avoid legal issues with CompTIA. I would rely solely on highest voted answers only.

I guess it's a dump from someone who took the exam with the answers that person gave. So the answers are questionable. Most voted answer is usually correct. You learn a lot from reading the comments.

Ok so just putting it out there... Would turn it off and on again not be the first as its the easiest to do first? Most troubleshooting always says keep it simple.

The question talks about a paper jam. If there a paper jam, the path should be traced to remove the paper. The answer is B . Replacing or changing the maintenance kit has nothing to do with paper jam.

No need for maintenance kit it’s a new printer .

Selected Answer: B
B is the answer because it’s a new printer. If it is a old printer then the fuser roller could be faulty. he fuser assembly is responsible for fusing the toner onto the paper. The fuser assembly consists of two rollers, a heat roller and a pressure roller. When the pressure roller becomes worn, it will become difficult to turn. When the fuser assembly can't turn, it will cause a paper jam. Hence B is appropriate and we just Lift the rear door release and pull open the door. To open the paper guide on the top of the fuser, lift the paper guide tab. Remove any jammed paper from the back of the printer.
