I'm Thinking A Cloud bursting is a configuration method that uses cloud computing resources whenever on-premises infrastructure reaches peak capacity. When organizations run out of computing resources in their internal data center, they burst the extra workload to external third-party cloud services.

To avoid investing in additional hardware and address the issue of increased activity in a private cloud once a year, the BEST action would be to "Configure cloud bursting to spin up new VMs automatically and terminate them when usage is back to normal" (A). Cloud bursting is the process of automatically allocating additional computing resources from a public cloud to a private cloud during peak demand periods. This process can help organizations meet sudden spikes in demand without requiring additional investment in hardware. When usage returns to normal levels, the cloud infrastructure can automatically scale back down, releasing the additional resources and minimizing costs.

Can, or should a DR be used for additional resources when needed? I've only ran across complete fail-over scenarios where one is down and the DR kicks in, NOT using both in tandem. I can absolutely be wrong here since CompTIA uses word salads to as questions.

Selected Answer: B
The private cloud doesn't have the hardware to support cloud bursting and the question says we need to avoid investing in additional hardware. Given that constraint, B is the best answer.
