Answer should be D. If your power supply cannot handle the wattage required, having a redundant supply won't matter.

Selected Answer: D
D. Power supply wattage rating. With high-performance components such as a discrete high-end graphics card, video capture card, high-end processor, multiple hard drives, and a USB hub, the overall power consumption will be significant.

Yea pretty sure redundant power supply isn't a major concern if the PC is just used for gaming

Selected Answer: D
D. Power supply wattage rating is the MOST important for the technician to consider before building the gaming computer. This is because a high-end graphics card, video capture card, high-end processor, multiple hard drives, and USB 3.0 hub will require a large amount of power to function properly. The wattage rating of the power supply must match the requirements of these components to avoid power problems and instability in the computer. If the power supply is not powerful enough, it can cause component failure, system crashes, and other problems. Thus, it is crucial for the technician to choose a power supply with an adequate wattage rating that can support all the components of the gaming computer.

The tricky thing in this question is multiple hard drives; you need a redundant supply. and redundant power supply will be more powerful anyway, which means you will have enough power for your system. Just guessing =)

You do not need redundant power supplies to power multiple hard drives. Also, two 200W power supplies being used for redundancy still provides less power than one 600W power supply, so your second statement is incorrect. The most important factor here is that you have enough power to support his high-end components.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you need redundant PS for RAID, yes?

Need to know the wattage to see if the power supply is strong enough to run all the equipment. It is not a machine that NEEDS built in redundancy.
