Don't over think this one. It's honestly just to make sure the access point is back in place and not readily reachable.

I thought APs are not meant to have physical object "in front" of them cause of signal reduction. Sitting behind tiles would not be a good idea. But then the other options are not very convincing either.

If you choose B - the secure conduit may still be hanging and reachable. Thus I choose C.

Leaving cables unprotected can lead to attackers injecting code into them, known as lightning cable attack. Just putting the AP and cables under the tile is not going to protect it, you can still easily to it via a ladder or traveling under the tiles.

Selected Answer: C
The penetration tester would likely recommend securing the access point and cabling inside the drop ceiling to prevent unauthorized access or tampering. Hanging the WAP from the drop ceiling by its cabling makes it easily reachable and susceptible to physical attacks or unauthorized alterations. By securing the access point and cabling, the organization can reduce the risk of potential security breaches or disruptions caused by unauthorized individuals gaining access to the WAP. This can be achieved by using appropriate mounting brackets, enclosures, or other physical security measures to prevent easy access to the WAP and its cabling.
