Selected Answer: D
Random Access Memory (RAM) is a type of memory that temporarily stores data for the processor to access. If the system's response time slows down when multiple applications are being utilized, it is likely that the amount of RAM available is insufficient to handle the demand. Upgrading the RAM can help increase the processing ability of the computers and improve the system's performance when multiple applications are being used. Adding or upgrading a Solid-State Drive (SSD) can also improve performance, but it is unlikely to resolve the issue with slow response times when multiple applications are being used. Upgrading the Central Processing Unit (CPU) may also help, but it is often more expensive than upgrading the RAM. Upgrading the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) is not likely to have a significant impact on the system's performance when multiple applications are being utilized.

Selected Answer: D
'Upgrading to a faster CPU will improve your PC's single-application performance, making games run more smoothly, for example. Adding more RAM to your PC increases its multitasking capacity, but won't necessarily improve its single-application performance'

D is correct. ram is the 1s option and the cheapest upgrading from an HDD to an SSD(if the motherboard has the M.2 slot or use a PCIe card) last option should be CPU as long as the motherboard supports, otherwise you will need to upgrade both
