Selected Answer: B
If you are ever being asked what to do NEXT or FIRST when troubleshooting, completely replacing the hardware is almost NEVER the correct answer.

Selected Answer: B
the answer is B This ensures tht the laptop is outputting a signal to the projector. often the error No source found occurs because the laptop is not configured to send a signal to the external display.

Selected Answer: D
Worded poorly, Option B is not correct and D seems to extreme. I am hung up on "No Source Found". Extending/Duplicating the display would not do anything due to the projector not even detecting input from any cable. So by my process of elimination, "D" would be the most correct answer.

No doubt its poorly worded however the question is asking "when the user connect laptop to "SYSTEM" (when it should says display or projector). The laptop is not having issue its the projector or display that is not showing input source. So in this case answer B is the correct answer and display or projector needs to be checked.

No source found means either the settings of the projectors are not set to the right source, or the laptop is not streaming to the projector. Extending or duplicating would therefor display to the projector.

If the graphics card was bad, you would not see an image on your laptop either, right? Am I wrong?

Also, If the option of D had added "might have gone bad" then it would be a good candidate of choice but it didn't say so and also made the statement conclusive. That alone should make the answer "B" a standalone option.

I believe the correct answer should have been "D" but based on ComptTIA steps the right answer in this analogy is "B".

Via CompTIA "If no image is displayed on the monitor or projector, first make sure that the display device is plugged in and turned on. Check that the monitor is not in standby mode (press a key or cycle the power to the monitor to activate it). You may also need to use controls on the monitor itself to adjust the image or select the appropriate data source or input channel. For example, if there is no image on the screen, check that the monitor is set to use the HDMI port that the computer is connected to, rather than an empty DVI port. These o n-screen display (OSD) menus are operated using buttons on the monitor case. As well as input control, you can usually find settings for brightness, color/contrast, and power saving."

It might be D.The question states that the user has already tried multiple inputs on the projector. Which means that the next step is to replace the graphics card
