Selected Answer: B
Before implementing the wireless hardware in Europe, the company should research the regulatory impacts that may affect the deployment of the WAPs. Different countries have different laws and regulations governing the use of wireless devices, such as WAPs. For example, some countries have specific rules about the maximum allowed transmit power of WAPs, while others have rules about the frequencies that WAPs can operate on. By researching the regulatory impacts before deploying the WAPs, the company can ensure that it is compliant with local laws and regulations and avoid any potential issues. Other considerations such as the WPA2 cipher, CDMA configuration, and 802.11 standards may not be as relevant for this particular scenario.

Can someone explain what the question is referring to? The process of elimination takes away A, C, and D for sure and leaves B as the answer but, why does regulatory impacts effect hardware implementation?

In the US on the 2.4ghz band you can only use channel 1-11, in Europe 1-13 and 1-14 in Japan. When ou configure an AP you have to tell it what country you are in because the frequencies vary by country.
