This exact question was on my exam and I didn't miss any questions in troubleshooting methodology, so I am certain the correct answer is A. Write a knowledge base article in the ticketing software to expedite future incidents.

You could argue that A & B are interchangeable. So therefore this question isnt the best. Because you could argue that you should submit and doc your findings and solutions but you could also argue that submitting a bug report is part of STEP 5 "Implement Preventive Measures"
