Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this should be A & E. A- because the printer ports are shutdown on Switch 3 E- because the printer is on a different VLAN on Switch 3 (should be 60, not 80). There seems to be nothing wrong with the duplexing as full.

yeah I think the same, the printer and the AP should not be at the same VLAN

D and E. It is a cruel question checking your eye sight. There are other ports also down

yes, but the question clearly states the symptoms of the problems and does not mention that employees ALSO cant access the network. It just says they cant print. So I would be so inclined to think that those ports are disabled for a reason.

It’s D and E people…all ports needs to be enabled on the stack not just the printer…please read the question carefully…it is NOT A and E…also “new users” are on the 3rd or new stack…

I might be wrong but isn’t E and F? A. Enable printer ports on switch 3. even if you enable those ports, might not work since printer has the wrong vlan, should be 60. B. Duplex settings are the same for all C. Reconfigure all printers vlan. The other printers are working fine with those assigned ports. So no reason to change something that works. D. Enabling all ports that are shut down will not fix port tag for printers. E. Reconfigure vlan on switch 3 will connect to the ap and users are able to print. F. Enabling ap on switch 3 allows connectivity to users and printer. Please comment your reasonings.

I definitely think E is part of the answer. And I think your reasoning makes sense, but wouldn't any shutdown port possibly lead to users not being able to print? I feel like it makes more sense to make ALL the ports active. I'd go D and E.

While you do need to enable the printer ports on switch 3, there are workstations in switch 3 that cannot use the internet (their ports are disabled, and the AP ports as well). The question mentions new employees, meaning the workstations have recently started being used, but the ports were not yet enabled.

Full duplex requires more than half duplex. Typically full duplex is achieved by having two separate data paths. Wireless Access points only communicate half duplex. According to what is read Online even the Wireless AP's Full duplex configuration could not work. Depending on the IP address subnet CIDR notation, VLAN 60 could now be full & require a VLAN reconfiguration for the whole network which can require the entire network to have to go down.

Choice A, “Enable the printer ports on Switch 3,” is indeed a valid action to take. However, enabling only the printer ports would not resolve the issue completely because the workstations on Switch 3 are also shut down. Look at the upvoted post of 'LetsDiscuss23'.

Workstation ports 25-36 are also shut down on switch 2 but apparently that isn't a problem. Also the new users workstation on switch 3 could be in ports 1-12 which are enabled. So I think AE.

I believe it should be D and E because Users cannot print from their workstations. Enabling the Printer ports is fine BUT their Workstations are still disabled so they still cant print. Therefore enabling all ports would allow both the Printers and the Workstations to function.
