I don't know now. Could be spanning tree. Likely is. If you've got one host consuming all the bandwidth on the SWITCH port I don't see how configuring link aggregation on the HOST solves this problem. Maybe someone can tell me.

Spanning Tree Protocol prevents broadcast storms. Broadcast storms consume sufficient network resources so as to render the network unable to transport normal traffic. And this is not the situation here. B is my choice.Link Aggregation.

Yeah this has to be B, they are saying the physical bandwidth capacity of the port is being maxed out. The only way to fix this is to improve bandwidth with Link Aggregation.
