Selected Answer: B
In a blue-green deployment model, the green stack represents the new release, and the blue stack represents the previous release (the stable version). When users report application issues immediately after deploying the green stack, it's a sign that the new release may have problems or is not fully compatible with the production environment. The fastest way to restore the service and minimize user impact is to failback to the blue stack, which is the stable and previously working version of the application. This allows you to quickly revert to a known good state while you investigate and address the issues with the green stack separately. Rebooting servers, restoring from backups, or troubleshooting and resolving issues in the green stack may take longer and could potentially worsen the situation if the root cause of the issues is not immediately clear. Failing back to the blue stack provides a rapid and reliable rollback mechanism.
