Agree.. some 3rd party software companies will give access to their code for static analysis, but there are restrictions like the code analysis has to be performed by a certified auditor. While others will not provide access to their libraries. Best to review the contract and agreements for the company if you want access to libraries and plan to add something to your home grown code.
