Selected Answer: B
The cleanliness of the keyboard is directly related to the functionality of the keys. Over time, dust, dirt, and debris can accumulate under the keys, causing them to stick or not press down properly. This can result in keystrokes not registering in a word processor or any other application. When keys are not making proper contact due to debris, the electrical signals that register the keystrokes may not be sent correctly to the computer. Cleaning the keyboard can remove these obstructions and restore the proper function of the keys.

Selected Answer: B
B. Clean the keyboard. In this scenario, the laptop works fine when the technician tests it with an external keyboard, but many keystrokes do not register in a word processor when the internal keyboard is used. This suggests that the issue may be related to the internal keyboard and not the software or hardware settings. Cleaning the keyboard is a simple and effective solution to address common issues such as dirt, debris, or stuck keys that can prevent the keyboard from functioning correctly. Disabling the sticky keys feature will not likely resolve the issue, as it is designed to assist users who have difficulty pressing multiple keys simultaneously. Resetting the BIOS settings to default may resolve certain hardware or software issues, but it is unlikely to address an issue with a physical component such as the keyboard. Charging the laptop may resolve some performance issues that are related to a low battery, but it is not likely to resolve an issue with the keyboard.

This is wrong. It says there is no external damage to the keyboard so cleaning it isn't going to help. If it is missing key strokes then some keys are probably stuck and must be fixed. Answer is A

Sticky keys is a feature. You may want to go look it up. Sticky keys does not fit with the issues stated here.

The most likely solution to the issue described would be B. Clean the keyboard. If the laptop keyboard is not registering keystrokes properly, it could be due to dust, debris, or other particles that have accumulated under the keys over time. Cleaning the keyboard could help to remove any foreign objects that are interfering with the keyboard's functionality. Option A (Disable the sticky keys feature) is unlikely to be the solution as sticky keys do not usually affect keystrokes not registering. Option C (Reset the BIOS settings to default) is also unlikely to be the solution as BIOS settings are unlikely to affect the functionality of the laptop keyboard. Option D (Charge the laptop) is also not likely to be the solution, as battery power is not typically a factor in the functionality of the laptop keyboard. Therefore, the most likely solution to this issue is to clean the keyboard, which is a common issue with older laptops.

Selected Answer: B
Sticky keys don't really affect overall keyboard inputs. BIOS also does nothing to help. Cleaning the keyboard seems like the only logical answer, so I chose B.
