A. Satellite
Satellite internet connections typically have higher latency compared to other technologies. This is because the signal must travel to and from satellites in geostationary orbit, resulting in longer round-trip times. While satellite internet can provide coverage in remote or rural areas, it often has higher latency compared to technologies like DSL, cable, or 4G.
Satellite = Method of using communication satellites located in space to connect a user to the Internet (requires satellite. Satellite is best used for mobile users on the go. Speed however is usually slow & service is expensive. There is high latency due to geosynchronous satellites having to communicate around 22,000 miles away from the Earth's surface.
Satellite is most likely to have the HIGHEST latency while being the most accessible. While satellite internet may be available in remote or rural areas where other options like DSL or cable are not available, the signal has to travel long distances to reach the satellite in orbit and then back down to Earth, resulting in high latency.
