Selected Answer: C
The only two options that deal with MACs are the MAC table and ARP table. A MAC table works on layers 1 and 2, mapping physical ports to MAC addresses, while an ARP table works on layers 2 and 3 to map MACs to IPs. Therefore the answer is ARP table.

Selected Answer: C
. ARP table The ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) table on a Layer 3 network switch maintains a mapping between a device's MAC address and its assigned IPv4 address. By checking the ARP table, the network technician can determine the IPv4 address assigned to the device.

Selected Answer: C
To determine the IPv4 address of a device that is connected to a managed Layer 3 network switch, you can use the ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) table. The ARP table is a database that is used by a device to map MAC addresses to their corresponding IP addresses. When a device sends a packet to another device on the same network, it uses the MAC address of the destination device to deliver the packet. The ARP table allows the device to determine the IP address of the destination device based on its MAC address.
