Terrible question but A, mac filtering is the only thing that makes sense, nothing else prevents network access.

Defense in depth. VPN first then Mac. I don't want a bad external actor near my network to have to worry about Mac filters. Outer layer = VPN

The question just wants to know how to stop people from accessing the Internal Network and VPN won't do that.

MAC addresses can be spoofed, option A is not valid. Anti-malware protects against malware but doesn't provide any sort of authentication, option B is invalid. Translation gateway is used by NAT to share the same Public IP address, it has nothing to do with access control. VPN encrypts data making it unreadable if spoofed plus provides various authentication methods including a username and password, radius server, digital certificates, active directory, and MFA.

MAC filtering is a method used to control access to a network based on the MAC addresses of devices. While it can be a useful additional layer of security, it is not typically considered the best solution for preventing unauthorized access to an internal network. I would go with VPN

A VPN creates a secure, encrypted tunnel between the user’s device and the network. This can effectively prevent unauthorized access to the internal network.

It would need to specify remote access. VPN's cannot be used locally

I will go with D. Question states "prevent unauthorized access to the internal network" so preventing connections from any other place but the internal network what can be achieved by a VPN. NAC is for securing the internal network so to me, it does not apply.
