Gents you're getting caught in the concept that this companies IT must do the migration. Nah, as Applebees points out - there's SaaS providers that handle the CRM apps, and do the whole migration as well. Fully hands off.

This one is PAAS. Key word is "least". VM will hold the servers in a PAAS environment. SAAS is software only. You cannot migrate servers from onprem to SAAS.

I don't understand why so many people chose C. Yes, the company does already have an existing CRM application but the question specifically states that they want the least APPLICATION support from the company. With a platform as a-service solution, they still have to support the application. With a SaaS solution such as Salesforce minimal application support is needed.
