Annoying because people could figure out the answer if they had the full term. However, in a real world scenario staff communicating would use a lot of acronyms.

Selected Answer: B
Cryptomining software can sometimes be categorized as potentially unwanted programs by antivirus applications. This classification is based on the nature of the software and how it operates. While cryptomining software itself is not malicious, it can consume significant system resources and may be installed without the user's explicit consent or knowledge, leading to its classification as a PUP by some antivirus applications.

PUPs are software programs that are usually installed alongside other programs or through deceptive means, such as bundled software installers or misleading advertisements. They may be considered unwanted because they may perform actions that are not in the best interests of the user, such as displaying advertisements or tracking user activity. Crypto mining software, while not necessarily malicious, may be classified as a PUP by some antivirus applications because it may be installed without the user's knowledge or consent and may use the computer's resources without the user's explicit permission.

It is possible that the antivirus application was not detecting the mining software as a PUP during the testing phase on personal devices because the users were intentionally installing the software and giving it permission to use their resources. However, when deployed on servers without explicit permission from the server administrators, the antivirus application may have correctly identified the mining software as a PUP and raised alerts or caused issues.
