Another stupid question, where they mean something that's "obvoius". How account can be blocked multiple times? After it's blocked first time, it becomes blocked and you can't log in until it's unlocked.

Some group policies allow locked accounts to be automatically unlocked after a certain amount of time. But I agree, the question doesn't specify, and that is not always the case.

Selected Answer: B
A brute-force attack is a method used by attackers to gain unauthorized access to an account or system by systematically attempting various combinations of usernames and passwords until the correct one is found. In this case, the administrative account belonging to the security engineer has been repeatedly locked out, indicating that multiple incorrect login attempts have been made. Since the security engineer has been on vacation, it is unlikely that they are the ones attempting to log in with incorrect credentials. Therefore, it suggests that an attacker is systematically trying different combinations of usernames and passwords to gain access to the administrative account.

Maybe it tries to imply that the user is not the one that's trying to log in because it's on vacation
