Selected Answer: C
C. Site-to-site VPN provides secure connectivity between two or more geographically dispersed locations, such as a main office and a remote office. It is a good choice when multiple users need to access network resources from the remote office, as it allows all the users in the remote office to securely connect to the main office network using a single VPN connection. This solution provides a secure, encrypted tunnel between the two sites, allowing traffic to flow securely between them.

Remote can be a physically remote location, it doesn't necessarily have to be a cloud based location.

A) Always on: VPN that doesn't require user interaction, you are always connected B) Remote access: to connect to a private net over untrusted public networks C Site-to-site: connect to local area net, ideal for business and government, specially if it has multiple offices (CORRECT ANSWER) D) Full tunnel: route all internet traffic from the device through VPN, regardless of the source or destination

Selected Answer: C
A site-to-site VPN establishes a secure connection between two or more networks, typically connecting the main office with remote locations or branch offices. In this scenario, the new remote office is fully furnished with office resources, indicating a permanent or semi-permanent setup. With a site-to-site VPN, the remote office can establish a secure connection to the main office network, allowing employees in the remote office to access resources and systems located at the main office. It provides a secure and encrypted connection between the two locations, enabling seamless and protected communication.

Site-to-site VPNs are frequently used by companies with multiple offices in different geographic locations that need to access and use the corporate network on an ongoing basis. With a site-to-site VPN, a company can securely connect its corporate network with its remote offices to communicate and share resources with them as a single network.
