Gary, a computer technician, is facing allegations of abusing children online by befriending them and sending them illicit adult images from his office computer. What type of investigation does this case require?
Just a crime, man. No matters where to happens or if the computer belongs or not to the company. A crime is a crime, so is a criminal investigation, performed by public sector forensics.
Different case is, if the company suspects this guy is commiting a crime. Investigation begins as administrative, but soon will become a public sector one, and all the evidences will be sent to the officers.
This should be C. Its a work computer so an Administrative investigation is also required.
