B is a coeeect anwser,if you want to connect to internet, you need to transfer domain name to IP adress, but ARP poisoning is transfer IP adress to your local MAC adress.
B. MITM is the correct answer bcos this attack occurs in layer 3 where IP spoofing also occurs. But ARP poisoning occurs in layer 2 hence the correct answer is B
I agree, that it probably won't be ARP poisoning as in that case, attacker is spoofing MAC address, not IP address (victim's PC asks "what MAC address belongs to this destination IP?" and attacker responds with his own MAC (destination IP remains the same).
In MITM, attacker can spoof IP address - for example by DNS poisoning, where attacker achieve that DNS record points to attacker's (spoofed) IP address instead of correct IP address (i. e. IP is different, whereas with ARP poisoning, destination IP is not changed, but destination MAC address is changed to spoofed).
