SSL Certs are only needed either by Client only, or both Client and Server. BIG-IP is not an option.

Be aware that BIG-IP acts as a client on the server side. In case the servers to which BIG-IP makes request do not require client authentication (most cases) there is no need to use a certificate in server SSL profile. The option is NONE.
