First of all, we have no idea what the DR/BDR priority is (DR/BDR priority > local router?)
If the DR fails, the BDR takes over the DR role. There is no DR election, only the BDR.(Ospf process)
The local router will be the new BDR
If the "new" DR fails, the local router will be the new DR
Choice A is therefore not the only way for the local router to become DR

B is the answer. The current BDR has a lower router ID than the local device. If the current DR fails, a re-election will cause the local device to be elected the DR.
La eleccion de un DR y BDR en redes ethernet o frame relay se basa en el siguiente orden:
- Prioridad (Configurable)
- Router ID: ( configurable o puede ser una IP loopback o interface fisica mas alta en ambos)
Tomando los valores actuales la unica forma es que falle DR y despues el BDR para que entonces DROTHER tome
el rol DR.
