When HA override is enabled, the FortiGate HA election process follows this order: Connected monitored ports – The device with the most monitored interfaces up becomes primary. Priority – If monitored ports are equal, the higher priority (lower numerical value) wins. System uptime – If priority is equal, the unit with the longer uptime becomes primary. FortiGate serial number – Used as a tiebreaker if all else is equal. Why the other options are incorrect: A & C incorrectly include "HA uptime" (not a factor in the election process). D reverses Priority and System uptime, which is incorrect. Correct Answer: B
