I also would choose A & B. C were not bad, if you configure a cluster management IP, but otherwise, the mgmt is dedicated per member. A: "Session-pickup has some limitations. For example, the FGCP does not support session failover for sessions being scanned by proxy-based security profiles. Session" I assume, this is valid not only for the 6000 https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate-6000/6.0.4/fortigate-6000-handbook/686471/session-failover-session-pickup

C is correct :) HA management interface will be enabled automatically on slave unit and interface will be configured same as Master.
