C is easier and you won't get less than D. I think creating one project per region wouldn't create benefit.

Selected Answer: C
The recommended structure for your organization's resource hierarchy in Google Cloud would be C. Create one project for the development environment and one project for the production environment. This structure provides clear separation between the development and production environments, allowing for better management and control of resources. By having separate projects, you can enforce different access controls, configurations, and deployments for each environment. This ensures that changes made in the development environment do not impact the production environment. Option A and B suggest using a single project for all environments and relying on labels or tags to segregate resources. While labels and tags can be useful for organizing and categorizing resources, they may not provide the same level of isolation and control as separate projects. Option D suggests creating multiple projects for each environment, with separate projects for the development and production environments in each region. While this approach could work, it may introduce unnecessary complexity, especially if the two regions have similar configurations and requirements.

Selected Answer: D
Question is not well defined. Both C and D can be the answer. If you require simplicity and ease of mgmt, C is correct. For more granular control regarding regional compliance, access rights mgmt , billing etc. use D.

The part of compute engine being in two regions is meant to confuse you. It's not relevance.

Resources can be deployed across regions irrespective of their Project ID. No need to create separate Projects Region-wise.
