A network administrator examines a list of 2.4GHz clients with low performance in the Mobility Master (MM) dashboard. Which property should pose a concern as a potential performance issue?
Correct answer is B
Low goodput: Radios that have an average data rate of 24 Mbps or lower.
Low goodput: Clients that have an average data rate of 24 Mbps or lower.
he property that could pose a concern as a potential performance issue for 2.4GHz clients with low performance in the Mobility Master dashboard is B. Goodput data rate of 12Mbps.
Goodput is the actual throughput achieved by a communication system, after considering factors such as protocol overhead, retransmissions, and packet errors. A low goodput data rate indicates that the data transfer rate is slow and could be a potential performance issue for clients.
ACMA Official Certification Study Guide (Exam HPE6-A42)
Page 281: Low good put, clients that have an average date rate of 24 Mbps or lower
Low speed, clients that have a connection speed of 26 Mbps or lower
So, B
20 MHz is the best practice so not A. D is incorrect because usage doesn't mean it is a bad connection; it can also be an IoT device for example.
The answer is B.
A Goodput of 12 Mbps = only 12Mbps can be transferred by the network to the client. Not very... Good...
A usage of 10 MB is not a concern. If the client only demands 10MB, that's OK. If the network could only serve 10MB, that would be a problem.
TL;DR - Low Usage OK as it's client side. Low Goodput BAD as it's network side.
Why you guys say B? 12Mbps is to low?? i know it sholud be as high as possible but in the study guide it shows an example of 17Mbps in a client with poor health, what is the recommended rate for goodput?
