C. The model is deployed at UK border checkpoints. The EU AI Act generally applies to AI systems used in the EU or affecting EU residents. Since the UK is no longer part of the EU post-Brexit, a model deployed exclusively at UK border checkpoints, with no impact on EU residents, would likely fall outside the Act’s scope. Again, assuming no impact on EU residents traveling to UK.
