Ans is C: BABOK V-3 8.4.4.3 Organizational Structure Changes pg.179 There are occasions when business analysts assess how the organization’s structure is impacted by a solution. The use of a solution and the ability to adopt a change can be enabled or blocked by formal and informal relationships among stakeholders. The reporting structure may be too complex or too simple to allow a solution to perform effectively. Assessing if the organizational hierarchy supports the solution is a key activity. On occasion, informal relationships within an organization, whether alliances, friendships, or matrix-reporting, impact the ability of a solution to deliver potential value. Business analysts consider these informal relationships in addition to the formal structure.

Answer should be C. The question mentioned that business analyst (BA) confirmed that the solution conforms to the organizational hierarchy. This means its not an issue of structure complexity.

Correct answer is C. As per BABAOK 8.4.4.3, the use of solution and ability to adopt a change can be enabled or blocked by formal and informal relationships. Organizational hierarchy refers to formal structure which is already considered by BA and the solution conforms to it. The informal relationships are not evaluated as not mentioned in question hence, the BA fails to consider these which created an obstacle in adoption of solution.

Its C. It says it confirms already to the org hierarchy. Structure complexity is part of hierarchy. The only thing left to be considered is Informal relationships.

Could be any but I believe it is C=Informal Relationships as per page179 The use of a solution and the ability to adopt a change can be enabled or blocked by formal and informal relationships among stakeholders.

Yes, but it also say that BA consider these informal relationships in addition of the formal structure (p.180). My opinion is that the solution is not used cause it is too complex at first and than the use of the solution is blocked by informal relationships among users. Answer is D : Structural complexity (first choice) Answer is C: Informal relationships (second choice)
