Answer C- There is a line in the question that refers to 'early adaptive development which directly means 'Adaptive development'. Change requests in adaptive approach are added to backlog for future prioritization.

Even though the product is in early adaptive development, the changes proposed needs to be formally approved and then added to the product backlog as a feature to be developed in future. Otherwise, any irrelevant stakeholder may propose changes that will be added to product backlog which cause ambiguities or inconsistencies in future. The term Adaptive means changes can be accepted late in the development. As per BABOK v3 3.1.4.2, adaptive approaches favour defining requirements and designs through team interaction and gathering feedback on a working solution. This suggests that adaptive approach also require careful evaluation of feature before being added to product backlog.

i believe its c. A predictive approach may indicate a more formal assessment of proposed changes. In predictive approaches, the impact of each change can be disruptive; the change can potentially generate a substantial reworking of tasks and activities completed in previous activities. An adaptive approach may require less formality in the assessment of proposed changes. While there may be reworking needed as a result of each change, adaptive approaches try to minimize the impact of changes by utilizing iterative and incremental implementation techniques. Page-92

B- The new stakeholder wants a further change to a previously approved feature. This means the change request must be subject to another approval.

It's not clear who is the stakeholder and what's her influence. In an agile ( adaptive approach )C or D is the answer. If it is coming from a sponsor or product owner, generally it's taken in the next iteration. otherwise, it's added to the backlog. In a predictive ( waterfall ) approach B is the answer. as the question mentions adaptive cycle I will Go with D . However C is also a valid answer

Ans B according to me - Refer pg 39 - 3.3.4.2 Change control process - Determine the elements of the change request: identify the information to be included in a proposal to support decision making and implementation if it is approved. Another reference is pg - 95 - Business analysts work with key stakeholders to gain consensus on new and changed requirements, communicate the outcome of discussions, and track and manage the approval.
